BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–Authorities are on the lookout for a driver who struck and killed a pedestrian and left the scene.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the incident occurred shortly before midnight on Queenie Road in Berkeley County.
The Berkeley County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim as 39-year-old Taslib Caliph of Moncks Corner.
Troopers with SCHP say the type of vehicle the driver was in is unknown at this time.
