BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–Annette Bianchi, Chief Deputy Clerk of Court for Berkeley County, recently announced a new service available to the citizens of Berkeley County.
Berkeley County Clerk of Court, Family Court division has begun offering online payments of Child Support and Alimony.
This service can be found on the Berkeley County website, under “Courts/Child Support/Child Support/ Credit/Debit Card Payments.” You can also find it by clicking here.
The Clerk of Court office has partnered with SC.Gov to provide this online payment service at no cost to Berkeley County. SC.Gov will charge the cardholder a $1.00 service fee plus an additional low fee of 1.75% of the payment amount for all payments. The only information needed to make a payment with a credit card online is your Family Court case number and the last name of the person to whom they are paying.
“The ability make online payments to the Family Court provides convenience for the citizens and improves efficiency within the Family Court,” said Chief Deputy Clerk of Court Annette Bianchi. “The Clerk of Court office is dedicated to the citizens of Berkeley County and we are always striving towards new and improved
ways to serve the people.”
