Deputies: Suspect Stole More than $12K+ in Equipment from BCSD

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for help in identifying the car scene in the above image.

During the early morning hours of Monday, January 7, the vehicle was involved with a grand larceny from the Berkeley County School District Maintenance Facility located on Old Highway 52 in Moncks Corner.

During the theft, over $12,000 in Stihl yard equipment (weed eaters, back pack blowers, pole saws, chain saws and trimmers) was stolen.

The Sheriff’s Office needs the assistance of the public to help identify the person(s) responsible for the theft and who may operate the vehicle.

Please note: The vehicle appears to have aftermarket rims with exception of the passenger rear tire, which appears to be a stock rim.
