BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–Berkeley County deputies responded to Sedgefield Middle School Tuesday afternoon for a report of a student with a handgun.
The handgun was loaded, according to deputies.
Deputies have charged a 14-year-old student with Possession of a Firearm on School Property.
No students or staff were harmed, Sedgefield administrators say.
