BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–An upcoming closure of a railroad crossing in Berkeley County could impact Lowcountry drivers.
CSX has announced that it will be closing the railroad crossing on Cypress Gardens Road (near Highway 52) on Thursday, June 20 at 8 a.m.
The road will be closed to repair the damaged railroad crossing.
It will be closed for approximately 2-5 days.
Message boards will be activated to notify the public of the upcoming work. Signage will also be in place to mark detour routes.
