LETTER TO THE EDITOR:
Dear Editor,
In just three years, Donald Trump has unraveled decades of progress and made a mockery of everything the Oval Office stands for. We the people have an opportunity to repair the damage this administration has caused by electing someone who will be ready to lead this nation on day one.
As soon as Joe Biden launched his presidential campaign, I knew we had a candidate who was not only uniquely qualified to do the job but could connect with people in a way that Donald Trump never could.
I have been a state lawmaker in South Carolina for fourteen years and have witnessed first-hand the relationship Joe Biden has with South Carolina voters. Those relationships are real and not something to be taken for granted.
South Carolina knows Joe. He’s been through the fire. He’s the most seasoned and most authentic candidate in this race. Americans deserve a president they can relate to, a president that is trustworthy and gives them hope.
Americans deserve a president that speaks with kindness and dignity. Our country needs Joe Biden now more than ever.
