Deputies Arrest Man Wanted For Berkeley County Burglary, Vandalism

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. – Berkeley County deputies have arrested one of two people wanted in connection with a recent burglary and a vandalism case in which two men appeared to wear masks.

Detectives recently executed a search warrant at the apartment of Dylan Michael Reitz on Themens Road in Pinopolis. Detectives said they recovered several items reported stolen from the Pineland Place burglary and the Pinopolis Preschool burglary.

Reitz was charged with Receiving Stolen Goods, value $2,000 or less and Receiving Stolen Goods, value greater than $2,000 but less than $10,000. Reitz was already in custody at the Hill-Finklea Detention Center on unrelated charges involving a stolen golf cart belonging to Coastal Carolina University, deputies said.
