Berkeley County School District To Host Winter Teacher Recruitment Drop-In Dec. 2

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. – The Berkeley County School District is hosting a Winter Teacher Recruitment Drop-In on Wednesday, Dec. 2.

The event will be held at the Berkeley Education Center, which is at 107 East Main St. in Moncks Corner, from 4 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. 

Looking For a Job in Education?

According to the school district, it is looking for certified teachers to start as early as Jan. 2021.  There will also be information available on how to become a substitute teacher. 

Potential job candidates are encouraged to bring resumes to distribute as thy network with district administrators. Professional attire is required, and some school visits may occur.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Berkeley County School District continues to implement the following safety operations and protocols: 

  • Face coverings strongly encouraged
  • Hand sanitation stations available
  • Social distancing required at all times
