3 Berkeley County Council Members Sworn Into Office

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. – Three Berkeley County Council members were sworn into office Monday evening.

Berkeley County Council members Dan Owens (District 1), Josh Whitley (District 2) and Phillip Obie II (District 3) took the oath of office and were sworn in by South Carolina Sen. Brian Adams, who serves District 44.

Each council member will serve the next four years in their respective council seat.

All three council members were re-elected in the general election in Nov. 2020.
