GOOSE CREEK, S.C. – A child remains in critical condition three days after the truck they were in collided with a train at the railroad crossing at Red Bank Road in Goose Creek.

According the Goose Creek Police Department, six other people that were in that same truck, a white GMC Sierra, are no longer hospitalized for any injuries they may have received from the accident.

At the time, police said there were two adult females in the truck, along with five children, ages 13, 11, 11, 8 and 5.  Three of the occupants were ejected from the collision.

“The investigation is still ongoing. Whether or not there will be charges will be determined upon completion of the investigation,” Captain James Brown with GCPD said in a news release Tuesday.
