The deputy conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and made contact with the driver, later identified as Cowans. Deputies said Cowans admitted to the deputy he was in possession of methamphetamine and a pipe.

While running Cowans and his passenger through dispatch, deputies said it was discovered Osburn had an active warrant through the South Carolina Department of Probation, Parole, and Pardon Services.

As Osburn was being arrested for her warrant, deputies said she advised the arresting officer that she was in possession of heroin in her bra and methamphetamine in her purse.

Deputies said they were able to recover the drug and then conducted a probable cause search of the vehicle.

During the search, deputies said they found that Cowans was sitting on methamphetamine and attempting to conceal it from deputies during the traffic stop.

In total, deputies were able to seize 12 grams of methamphetamine and 3.6 grams of heroin from the traffic stop.
