Multiple Railroad Crossings To Temporarily Close In Bonneau, St. Stephen

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. – CSX Transportation recently announced it will be closing multiple railroad crossings in Bonneau and St. Stephen, as crews conduct maintenance and track repairs.

Drivers are urged to follow posted detour signage. Closures are expected to start Monday, Feb. 22, and be completed by March 5.

Locations and corresponding closure dates are as follows:

Bonneau:

  • Power House Road (Crossing Light at C.R. Bard, Inc.): Closing on/around the week of Feb. 22 – Feb. 26
  • Fieldstone Lane (Near McBeth Road): Closing on/around the week of Feb. 22 – Feb. 26
  • Dennis Ridge Road (Near Murrays Ferry Road/Jones Road): Closing on/around the week of Feb. 22 – Feb. 26
  • Forty-One Road (Between Hwy. 52 and Seaboard Road): Closing on/around the week of March 1 – March 5

St. Stephen:

  • Nursery Court/Glace Bay Lane (Off of Hwy. 52): Closing on/around the week of March 1 – March 5
  • South Main Street (Between Hwy. 52 and Track Way): Closing on/around the week of March 1 – March 5
  • Elm Street (Between Byrnes Drive and South Main Street: Closing on/around the week of March 1 – March 5
  • Church Road (Between Depot Street and South Main Street): Closing on/around the week of March 1 – March 5
  • Roosevelt Drive (Between T. Myers Drive and North Main Street): Closing on/around the week of March 1 – March 5)
