Goose Creek Police Look For Car, Suspect In Fatal Shooting

GOOSE CREEK, S.C. – The Goose Creek Police Department is asking the public to help officers identify and locate a car and suspect believed to be involved in a recent fatal shooting.

On Aug. 10 at 4:35 p.m., the Goose Creek Police Department received a 911 call in reference to shots being fired in the 300 block of Anne Street. Dispatchers were also notified, by the caller, that there a man was bleeding.

After arriving on scene, officers said they located 23-year-old Danta V. Jones of Goose Creek who had been shot and was unresponsive.

A medical team transported Jones to Trident Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to the police department.

Police said a dark colored, 4-door sedan was involved in the homicide.
