GOOSE CREEK, S.C. – Taco lovers, rejoice! A new restaurant inspired by Mexican cuisine has officially opened for business in Goose Creek.

Blue Tequila Tacos & Grill celebrated its grand opening Wednesday with a ribbon cutting ceremony. Mayor Greg Habib and city councilmembers were on hand for the special occasion.

“I am proud and happy to announce the grand opening of another restaurant in Goose Creek. Elevated Latin with a Miami vibe! They will be a wonderful addition to our city,” the mayor posted on his official Facebook page. “I really appreciate their significant investment, and look forward to a margarita or two!”

The restaurant is located at 121 Plantation North Blvd. in Goose Creek Village next to Walmart.

According to its website, the restaurant offers a new take on Mexican food in a beautiful and elevated atmosphere where guests can discover something new every time. It prides itself on craft, handmade margaritas made with fresh juices and 100 percent blue agave.

The restaurant is open Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and on weekends from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
