BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. – The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after three firearms were recovered from students at Sedgefield Middle on Monday.
The investigation was the result of a tip, according to the sheriff’s office.
Deputies said they did detain three students.
“We are working closely with the Berkeley County School District to complete the investigation,” the sheriff’s office said in a news release.
No other details were released at this time.
