Goose Creek Police Department’s 4th Annual ‘Hot Pursuit 5K’ Planned For June 11

GOOSE CREEK, S.C. – The Goose Creek Police Department will hold its fourth annual “Hot Pursuit 5K” race on Saturday, June 11, 2022.

Activities will begin at 7 a.m.

Proceeds from this race support underprivileged families and children during the holidays. Both walkers and runners are welcome.

There is a free one-mile children’s race at 7:30 a.m. The “Hot Pursuit 5K” race will start at 8:30 a.m.

Participation medals will be given out, to the first 500 finishers, at the finish line.

There will also be awards given to the winners in each age category. “Hot Pursuit 5k” T-shirts are complimentary with pre-registration.

In addition to participants signing up for the “Hot Pursuit 5K” race, sponsorships are also available, and volunteers are needed.

The “Hot Pursuit 5K” was established and implemented by Chief Roscoe in 2019. The Mission of the “Hot Pursuit 5K” event is to give back to the community by supporting “Shop with a Badge” and “Operation Christmas Joy.”
