GOOSE CREEK, S.C. – A new golf tournament is coming to Goose Creek in July, according to city officials. Crowfield Golf Club and the City of Goose Creek recently announced the first Goose Creek City Amateur Golf Tournament.
The inaugural event will be limited to 120 golfers, and will showcase one of the most beautiful and challenging municipal golf courses in the state.
“We are proud of this golf course, and we’re thrilled to introduce this tournament to Goose Creek,” Crowfield General Manager Troy Sanders said.
The 36-hole tournament will take place Saturday and Sunday, July 15-16 at Crowfield Golf Club. A practice round will take place on Friday, July 14, and the event will be flighted after the first round.
Tee times begin at 8:30 a.m. Lunch will be provided to participants on both Saturday and Sunday, and each player will receive a gift. A trophy will be given to the overall winner.
