BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. – The Berkeley County Coroner’s Office has identified a man killed in a weekend shooting in Goose Creek.
According to Coroner Darnell Hartwell, his office was contacted Saturday at 10:34 p.m. for a shooting that took place on Westminster Boulevard in Goose Creek.
The victim was pronounced deceased on scene from injuries sustained in the shooting, the coroner said.
The victim was positively identified as Earl Goodwater, 53, of Goose Creek.
The Berkeley County Coroner’s Office and the Berkeley County Sherriff’s Office are investigating.
At this time, the sheriff’s office has not released details of the shooting.
