From Cane Bay High, Greta Oswald secured the 2023 Teacher Forum Teacher Cadet Student Scholarship.

Oswald served as a Teacher Cadet at Cane Bay Elementary and as a team leader for her church’s special needs ministry.

In the fall, she plans to major in secondary education and is focused on teaching children with moderate to severe disabilities.

The funds for both scholarships were raised by the BCSD Teacher Forum through T-shirt sales and a silent auction.

The Teacher Forum is a teacher-led team that strives to serve as a supporter, a voice, a liaison, and an advocate for both teachers and students.
