Cane Bay Library To Host Fun Painting Activities Starting June 15

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. – The Berkeley County Library System is hosting a Paint It! activity on Thursday, June 15, 2023, from 10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. and will continue once a month at Cane Bay Library, located at 1655 Cane Bay Blvd. in Summerville.

“We’re going to try a new project this month – painting on canvas bags.  I can hardly wait to see how everyone’s projects turn out.  That’s my favorite part of this program – seeing how we all start with the same raw materials and end up with such wildly different artwork.  It really gives everyone’s creativity a chance to shine,” said Heather Bennett, Cane Bay Library.

BCLS said it is happy to provide guests with the opportunity to wind down and create in a comfortable space.  June’s project will be painting a design on makeup or pencil canvas bags.  Supplies will be provided by Friends of the Berkeley County Library.
