GOOSE CREEK, S.C. – A man is recovering from his injuries following a shooting in Goose Creek.
According to the Goose Creek Police Department, officers received a call at 6:38 a.m. Monday that
there was a shooting on Amy Drive near the intersection of Montague Plantation.
Officers responded and began searching the area. Goose Creek dispatch received a call from the North
Charleston Police Department that a shooting victim, presumed to have been involved in the shooting on Amy Drive, was located on Rivers Avenue in North Charleston.
The male victim was transported to Trident Hospital in stable condition, police said.
Police said a preliminary investigation reveals that a male shooter walked up to a vehicle and fired multiple shots at the driver inside.
The shooter then fled the scene on foot, and the victim fled the scene in the vehicle.
Police provided no description of the gunman or if they have any persons of interest in the case.
