BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. – The brand new Planet Fitness finally opened for business Tuesday at noon in Moncks Corner.
A grand opening celebration will take place at a later date, a representative said in an email to The Berkeley Observer.
Construction on the new gym, which is located at 110 Bilo Drive in Moncks Corner next to Pointe North Church, started about seven months ago.
Known for its Judgment Free Zone®, the gym includes a wide array of cardio, strength training and recovery equipment.
This is the first Planet Fitness in Moncks Corner and the second for Berkeley County. Planet Fitness is also located in Goose Creek.
Monthly gym memberships at Planet Fitness start as low as $10. A second membership option – the PF Black Card® for $24.99 a month – offers additional amenities like the ability to use any Planet Fitness club, HydroMassage®, massage chairs, tanning and the option to bring a guest any time for free.
