BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. – Nexton announced Friday the grand opening of its newest 55+ community, Hammock Walk, by Ashton Woods. Hammock Walk’s first homes, as well as its fully furnished model home, are now complete and move-in ready.

“We are excited to welcome new residents, agents and interested homebuyers to the much-anticipated addition of Hammock Walk,” says Cassie Cataline, marketing director at Nexton. “These newly introduced ranch-style villas offer thoughtfully designed spaces equipped with features and finishes that complement the vibrant, active lifestyle of Nexton’s residents.”

Upon completion, the Hammock Walk collection will feature two- and three-bedroom floorplans with outdoor living spaces and one-car garages starting in the $300,000s. Situated in Nexton’s North Creek neighborhood on Nexton Parkway less than one mile from U.S. 176, Hammock Walk will offer amenities including pickleball courts, walking and biking trails, ponds and a dog park.

“These villas align with our commitment to provide diverse housing options while offering a more accessible and affordable product for 55+ homebuyers seeking high-quality living in a vibrant community,” says Robert Norton, division president of Ashton Woods. “We are looking forward to the success of Hammock Walk and continuing our growing partnership with Nexton.”
