Berkeley County Seeks Input on Goose Creek Intersection Upgrades

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. – Berkeley County officials are inviting residents to a public information meeting to discuss proposed improvements to the intersection of Snake Road and NAD Road in Goose Creek.

The meeting will take place on Thursday, Sept. 25, 2025, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Goose Creek Elementary School Multi-Purpose Room, located at 200 Foster Creek Road.

The purpose of the meeting is to share details about the project and gather feedback from the community. Attendees will learn about the background and timeline of the project, current traffic conditions, and the proposed changes aimed at improving safety and reducing delays.
According to a recent traffic study, the intersection requires:

  • A double left-turn lane is needed from Snake Road onto NAD Road
  • A right-turn lane is needed from NAD Road onto Snake Road

These upgrades are expected to ease congestion and enhance traffic flow in the area, according to county officials.
