Investigators say that between Nov. 30 and Dec. 1, 2025, Ogden attempted to use stolen scratch‑off lottery tickets as payment for rent at a home in the Ladson area.

SLED reports that Ogden was working at the Piggly Wiggly in Ladson when she was caught on video stealing the tickets on Nov. 30. The person who received the stolen tickets later tried to redeem them at a Food Lion in Summerville.
The total value of the stolen tickets was $125.
Authorities say Ogden admitted to the crime after being read her Miranda rights.
