ST. STEPHEN, S.C. – A new chapter is in the works to give downtown St. Stephen a major facelift, and the community is invited to be part of it.
St. Stephen Growth & Development, in partnership with property owner Lean LC, is hosting a public kickoff event to unveil The Sheds on Main, a revitalization project aimed at transforming an underused section of South Main Street into a vibrant community hub.

The event is set for Saturday, June 28, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 1152 & 1154 S. Main Street in the heart of St. Stephen. Local residents, business owners, artists, and government leaders are encouraged to attend and learn more about the plans to reimagine the space.
Project highlights include:
- A new community park with green space and public art
- A performance stage for live music and cultural events
- A dedicated food truck court and small business incubator
- A fresh and creative vision to breathe new life into downtown St. Stephen
Organizers say the project is designed to blend creativity, economic development, and community spirit to bring energy and opportunity back to Main Street.
