The park will open at 9 a.m., with Folly River oyster clusters served from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. The oysters will be provided by Reed’s Catering, a longtime Lowcountry caterer known for traditional oyster roasts.
Visitors can expect more than just oysters. Live music will be performed by The Novatones, a Charleston-area cover band known for energetic performances of classic hits and crowd favorites.

Food, Music and Family Activities
Admission to the event is $5 per person, and tickets can be purchased in advance at the park or on the day of the event. Children under 12 get in free.
Once inside, guests can purchase gallon-sized buckets of oysters for $15. Several food trucks will also be on-site offering non-seafood options and other treats.
The event is designed to be family-friendly, with activities planned for younger visitors, including jump castles.
Guests are welcome to bring individual coolers, though organizers ask that pets remain at home during the event.
Powered by Renewable Energy
Event organizers say all electricity used during the oyster roast will come from renewable Green Power supplied by Santee Cooper.
The utility generates Green Power from solar energy, landfill biogas and wind power produced in South Carolina, according to officials. The energy program is Green-e Energy certified, meeting environmental and consumer-protection standards established by the nonprofit Center for Resource Solutions.
What to Know Before You Go
Because the oyster roast is a special event, admission is not included with the park’s annual pass.
Organizers encourage attendees to plan ahead for what is expected to be a lively afternoon celebrating one of the Lowcountry’s favorite traditions.
