BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. — Job seekers across the Lowcountry will have an opportunity to connect directly with employers later this month as Berkeley County officials host a workforce career fair aimed at linking residents with open positions.
Berkeley County Economic Development, in partnership with SC Works Trident, will host a Workforce Career Fair on Friday, March 20, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Berkeley County Administration Building, located at 1003 Highway 52 in Moncks Corner.

The event is free and open to the public, and organizers say it is designed for anyone looking for employment or considering a career change.
Employers from Berkeley County’s industrial sector, along with organizations representing a range of career fields throughout the Tri-County region, will be on site to meet with potential candidates. Attendees are encouraged to bring updated resumes and be prepared to interview with employers during the event.
Corey McClary, Berkeley County’s workforce development manager, said the event highlights the strength of the county’s workforce while helping employers connect with qualified candidates.
“We are proud of our diverse and talented workforce here in Berkeley County and look forward to offering this event to showcase our many great industries and other organizations seeking to fill high-quality open positions,” McClary said. “Whether seeking a career change or simply looking for a job, this event is for you.”
Regional workforce leaders say the fair also reflects broader efforts to connect residents with stable, long-term career opportunities.
“By bringing employers, partners and motivated job seekers together, we are ensuring that opportunity is within reach for anyone who is ready to work,” said Sharon Goss, workforce development director for the Berkeley-Charleston-Dorchester Council of Governments. “This event is to discover opportunities, build relationships and find your next step toward meaningful, long-term success.”
