CROSS, S.C.–Cross High School (formerly Central High School) will be hosting a reunion for the class of 1964 on October 17, 2014. This year marks the 50th anniversary for the ’64 graduates.
Marcia Watley, a 1991 graduate of Cross and the daughter of long-time Cross teacher, Eartha Johnson, is organizing the reunion, which will be held amid the high school’s Homecoming celebration this fall.
“We’re in the early stages of planning,” Ms. Watley said. “Right now, I’m looking to see who’s still out there and who might be interested in attending. Anyone who graduated in 1964 is welcome to attend: football players, cheerleaders. We’re hoping to see everyone there.” Ms. Watley is currently compiling a list of graduates from that year.
