Please join us on June 6, 2014, from 7-8:30 p.m. inside the USS YORKTOWN’S Smokey Stover Theater to hear old memories for USS LAFFEY Veterans. Admission is free and parking will be available for $5.

The USS LAFFEY, which is currently docked at Patriots Point, is one of the only two D-Day warships still in existence today.

“It’s an honor to have the USS LAFFEY at Patriot’s Point, and a great opportunity for people to come on board and meet veterans who served in one of the most important battles of U.S. history,” said Patriots Point Executive Director Mac Burdette. “The D-Day symposium will be very inspirational and will serve as a reminder of the sacrifice these men made 70 years ago.”
