BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.—On Friday, January 2nd, family, friends and co-workers of Randy Fallaw will bid a final farewell to a man who touched many lives during his short time on earth.

For five years, Randy served as a volunteer firefighter for the Caromi Fire Department in Ladson and was recently promoted to engineer. He was also an active volunteer with Toys For Tots and Pet Helpers.

He had a big heart, loved helping others and made friends wherever he went. Those who knew Randy will never forget his lively personality. He was a man who lived life to the fullest and would do anything for his friends—or stranger for that matter.

Randy’s funeral expenses are expected to cost his family approximately $15,000. Unfortunately, he did not have insurance at the time of his death. Family and friends will be organizing a fundraiser on GoFundMe.com to cover his burial. (More details will be provided soon.)

In the meantime, memorials may be made to Caromi Fire Department, 554 College Park Road, Ladson, SC 29456 and/or Pet Helpers, 1447 Folly Road, James Island, SC 29412.

During Randy’s procession, the Caromi Fire Department will be escorting Randy on top of their fire truck from Stuhrs in North Charleston to Carolina Memorial on Rivers Avenue. Randy’s biker friends will follow in tow.

The service starts at 11 a.m.
