I was born In Moncks Corner and have lived in town all my life.

I’m not a politician. I’m a wife, mother, nurse by profession, and an active member of the Pinopolis United Methodist church. I’m passionate about my home town.

Our home was a target of crime three times since 2013. We formed a Crime Watch in our neighborhood which is still active today. After our break-ins, I decided to get more involved with  our town. I regularly attend the town council meetings.

I purchased a copy of the proposed 2015 budget to study before attending the budget workshop for the town in September,2014. It is important to know how our tax dollars are being spent.

 FOCUS AREAS:

1. PUT THE SAFETY OF OUR CITIZENS AS TOP OF OUR TOWN:

We have experienced some crimes in our town. I will continue to work hard to keep our families, friend, homes, and businesses safe. Times have changed. We need to be prepared to face those changes.

2. ADD LIFE TO OUT DOWNTOWN DISTRICT:

I have been talking to our special events coordinator about our town’s possibilities. There are special events we can do to bring everyone  down town. There are some untapped  resources that can be utilized. I have ideas I would like to share.

Please vote for me on June 30.

I WOULD BE HONORED TO WORK FOR YOU AS YOUR NEW TOWN COUNCIL MEMBER

Sincerely,

Patricia Shepard Whaley
