Summerville Woman Killed in Three-Car Wreck a Short Distance from Home

ambulance BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–On Friday, April 1, at 10:30 p.m. 25 year old Jasmine Reid, of Summerville, was involved in a 3 car accident and died at the scene, Berkeley County Coroner Bill Salisbury.

Reid was turning left on North Main Street (Highway 17-A) from Longstreet St. when she was struck by a northbound pickup.

A third vehicle was also involved in the accident.

Coroner Salisbury has ruled her death accidental and the Coronerโ€™s Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol are investigating.

She was not wearing a seatbelt and was only several blocks for her home.
