2 Walmart Stores in Berkeley County to Get Makeover

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. – Two Walmart stores in Berkeley County will undergo a major facelift before the year ends. According to the giant retailer, local stores at 1635 Red Bank Road and 215 Saint James Avenue – both in Goose Creek – are scheduled to be remodeled.

Walmart recently announced an ambitious goal to update more than 650 stores across the U.S., including 33 stores in South Carolina. Over the last five years, the company has invested $279 million to upgrade stores throughout South Carolina.

• More Selection: Expanded departments. New items. More of what customers are looking for. 
• Expanding Online Pickup & Delivery: To fulfill the growing number of online customer orders. 
• Rethinking Our Pharmacy: Wider aisles. New private screening room. Privacy checkout areas.
