
MONCKS CORNER, SC — The “More Than Shelter Color 5K” returns to Moncks Corner on Saturday, May 17, bringing a burst of color and community spirit to the Moncks Corner Recreational Complex at 418 East Main St.
If you haven’t already signed up, there’s still time to do so. The 3-mile course welcomes participants of all ages, including those with strollers and leashed pets. Along the way, runners and walkers will be showered in vibrant bursts of color, creating a lively, festive atmosphere for a great cause.
This fun, family-friendly event benefits Landmarks for Families programs in Berkeley County and the Callen-Lacey Center for Children. Proceeds will support essential services such as the Parenting Series Program and the Family Success Coach Program.
Race packet pickup and late registration will be held Friday, May 16, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Moncks Corner Recreational Complex Pavilion.
Registration remains open for those still looking to join the colorful fun. You can register at this link. Day-of registration will also be available. Check-in starts at 8 a.m. Saturday, May 17. The race gets underway at 9 a.m.
