BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C–According to Berkeley County Coroner Bill Salisbury, on Sunday, February 07, 2016, at 4 a.m. 33 year old Jonathan (Jay) LaSalle, of Bonneau, was traveling on Cypress Gardens Road in Berkeley County.
Salisbury says his SUV ran off the right side of the roadway and struck a metal gate.
He was pronounced dead on the scene by the Coroner’s Office.
The death has been ruled accidental and he was wearing a seatbelt.
The Berkeley County Coroner’s Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol investigated the accident.
